Coonawarra After Dark
April 13th & 14th 2007

Coonawarra After Dark Experience Coonawarra Cellar Doors open their doors "After Dark" and invite visitors to experience the region's wineries under lights and at the peak of the grape harvest (vintage). A range of activities are on offer from tours of working wineries, meeting the Winemakers, watching grape harvesters in action, enjoying our wonderful local produce and the chance to sample our region's finest wines.

Lights and Sounds of Vintage
Visit Wynns after dark. Experience the atmosphere & indulge yourself at Coonawarra's oldest winery. Enjoy Wagyu beef sausages served with a gourmet bread roll, rocket salad & chutney, with current vintage wines available by the glass.

Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival
May 18th, 19th & 20th 2007

The Penola Coonawarra Arts Festival encompasses many facets of the arts including fine art, performing art and literature, attracting National, State and regional artists and performers. The weekend will incorporate performances, exhibitions, workshops, Coonawarra wine and local cuisine.

Swingin Miss
Melbourne based acapella group 'Swingin Miss' will fill the Wynns Cellar Door with song over the festival, performing a range of pop, jazz, swing and spiritual arrangements.

Come enjoy a chocolate mud muffin served with Coonawarra Cabernet caramel & King Island cream and a glass of one of Wynns current release wines while you soak up the ambience and amazing acoustics the historic gabled building provides.

Wynns Cellar Door For the month of July Cellar Doors across Coonawarra will provide visitors to the region a rare opportunity to taste and buy sometimes hard to find back vintage wines.

Winemakers Museum Selection
Indulge yourself at Wynns Coonawarra Estate and enjoy a tasting of a selection of back vintage wines from the Wynns cellars.

Coonawarra Cabernet Weekend & Barrel Series 11 Auction
October 19th - 21st, 2007

With over 30 events held over the 3 days, the region is abuzz with events such as live music, master class tastings, dinners. vineyard tours and special wine tastings, culminating on Sunday with the traditional Jazz & Sparkling brunch followed by the famous Barrel Series Auction. Coonawarra's Celebration of Cabernet weekend is the pre-eminent wine event for the region.
