V&A lane is a long, straight road that dissects Coonawarra’s famous terra rossa strip at its midpoint.
Surveyed in 1851, the lane divides the original electorates of Victoria and Albert, and is celebrated for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz wines.
The V&A Lane Cabernet Shiraz 2016 is no exception. Dark crimson in colour, with mulberry fruit, nut and black spice on the nose, the 2016 vintage has a rich and textured style. A dark brambly fruit palate is layered with smoky black tea fragrances and black spices.
We recommend pairing with a mushroom risotto. This wine is best drunk now or cellared for up to 15 years.
