The Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards from V&A Lane have been important contributors to Wynns’ top wines for many years. However this area is also gaining a reputation for a great Shiraz and a marriage of the two varieties is a part of Wynns history, going back to its earliest blends.

James Halliday

“Good colour; a lively, medium-bodied wine with blackberry and blackcurrant fruit crossing swords, mulberry and mint seconds to the combatants. It all works well.”

Andrew Caillard MW

“Deep colour. Fresh dark chocolate, plum, mulberry aromas with herb garden, liquorice notes. Attractive drinking wine with sweet dense dark berry, dark chocolate flavours, plentiful chalky textures, lovely mid-palate richness and underlying mocha, vanilla oak. Finishes graphite dry with inky mineral notes. Harmonious and delicious to drink.”
