This stellar collection of award-winning Shiraz from our revered Black Label collection has been produced from the rich terra rossa soils of Coonawarra. This region has garnered a reputation for producing exceptional wines that only improve in flavour, character and distinction as they age.
Although Wynns has largely centred on Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Shiraz blends, our varietal Shiraz wines are just as worthy of attention. Shiraz grows in many top-quality vineyards across Coonawarra, from vines aged between 30 and 110 years old. This superb expression of Coonawarra’s cool-climate Shiraz is characterized by fundamental fruit characters and tightly focused tannins, and these wines from the 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2018 vintages are exceptional examples
