The John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon is our flagship wine, made only in small quantities from the best fruit grown on our Cabernet Sauvignon plantings in the heart of the terra rossa soil. First made in 1982, John Riddoch has emerged as the definitive Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon.
The John Riddoch Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 was matured for 17 months in new and seasoned French oak, producing a vibrant deep red colour with a black core. The 2015 vintage has a powerful yet fresh nose, with hints of blueberries and red cherries, while the palate contains juicy red cherries and blueberry fruit.
Best paired with a grilled Wagyu beef fillet, this wine can be drunk now or cellared for more than ten years.
